How to Convert a TD Bank Statement to CSV or Excel

CSV Bank · 2026 · 5 min read

TD Bank provides PDF statements that you can download directly from your online banking portal. Converting these to CSV or Excel gives you full control over your transaction data — perfect for budgeting, tax preparation, or sending to your accountant.

Step 1: Download Your TD Bank Statement

Log into your TD Bank online account at tdbank.com. Navigate to your account, click on Statements & Documents, and download the statement period you need as a PDF file.

Step 2: Upload to CSV Bank

Go to csvbank.com and drag your TD Bank PDF onto the drop zone, or click Choose PDF Files to browse. The tool works entirely in your browser — your file is never uploaded to any server.

Step 3: Review Your Transactions

CSV Bank will extract all transactions from your statement including the date, description, debit amount, credit amount, and running balance. Transactions are automatically categorised into groups like groceries, dining, utilities, and more.

Step 4: Download CSV or Excel

Click Download CSV to get a .csv file you can open in any app, or Download Excel to open directly in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

What Does a TD Bank Statement CSV Look Like?

Each row in the output represents one transaction with these columns: Date, Description, Category, Debit, Credit, Balance. The date format matches TD Bank's MM/DD format.
